Collision monitoring
ARTIS collision monitoring systems are systems that for reasons of safety always work independently of process monitoring and machine control.

Different sensors are used, depending on the type of machine.
With a reaction time of < 1ms, as a rule incidents are reported direct to the control release system.

By connecting crash recorders you can also log and/or document collision events with the date and time. The logs can later be read out, if required via teleservice using a password.

Benefits of collision monitoring
• Prevents damage to the machine due to unforeseen collisions
  (as a result of faults in NC programming, breakdowns in assemblies,
  damaged tools or workpieces)
• Prevents unjustified guarantee claims thanks to the password-protected
  crash recorder, which stores all the information on collisions, together
  with the date and time
